Thank you for talking time out of your busy schedule to review the rationale and preliminary action plan for BLACKOUT 2010 OHIO. ​Your first  reaction may be “it’s awfully comprehensive ….very costly ….so ambitious.”  And you’re right, it is, however, this isn’t only about Ohio; BLACKOUT 2010 is about America and will become as widespread as the Tea Party movement that’s electrifying our nation. ​America is becoming a nation of people who want to “take back their country!”  

We are no different We will systematically withhold our votes in certain races on a given ballot, we’ll push this message and implication as far as the imagination of creative journalists will enable it to go. ​If the Republican Party, Independents and sensitive Democrats truly grab hold of our message and respond to the needs of our community the complexion of Party Politics will be changed forever!If you can join us in understanding why this action is necessary and why the African American community must reach beyond party lines to make things happen for Black Ohioans/Americans, we ask you to stand with us. ​
